YOUR GUIDE TO EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD ON THE OASIS CLASS SHIPS

Here’s how to navigate the seven distinct neighborhoods on every Oasis Class ship.

Oasis Class ships don’t just hold the record for being the world’s largest cruise ships —they also win awards for delivering larger-than-life experiences with all the amazing things to do on the cruise. Ranked among the best cruise ships for couples and families, Symphony, Harmony, Allure and Oasis of the Seas® are all home to seven distinct neighborhoods brimming with new discoveries.

From breezy Central Park® to glitzy Entertainment Place, each neighborhood brings its own blend of fun-filled activities, dining, and more. Whether you’re traveling with your significant other, the whole extended family, or a crew of your closest besties, here’s everything you need to know before setting sail on your new Oasis Class ship.

THE ROYAL PROMENADE

Every Oasis Class cruise begins on the Royal Promenade, which bustles with fellow travelers, costumed performers, live musicians and more. Lined with shops, restaurants, and buzzing bars (there’s even a Latin dance club), this high-energy neighborhood doubles as a hub for all your vacation needs. Guest service kiosks placed throughout the space make it easy to view, print or email your travel documents at any point during your getaway. Just keep your camera ready, because confetti drops and parades often break out spontaneously in this neighborhood.

CENTRAL PARK®

At the heart of every Oasis Class ship you’ll find Central Park®, an upscale gathering place that opens to the sky. In this lush and balmy hideaway, peaceful pathways wind through flower gardens and exotic trees. There are quiet nooks for reading and relaxing and high-end shops that provide plenty of retail therapy. Not to mention your pick of world class dining and drinking — like prime cuts at Royal Caribbean mainstay Chops Grille℠, wines from around the world at Vintages, and leading-edge cuisine at the intimate 150 Central Park.

ENTERTAINMENT PLACE

When the sun goes down, Entertainment Place lights up. Located close to the action-packed Royal Promenade, this is your go-to spot for the hottest nightlife onboard every Oasis Class ship. Think live jazz and blues at Jazz On 4, a speakeasy cocktail lounge inspired by prohibition-era Chicago, late night belly laughs at the comedy club, karaoke sessions at the On Air Club, and dazzling performances both onstage in the Main Theater and on ice in Studio B. Entertainment Place also serves as your gateway to Casino Royale℠, so feel free to step inside and place a bet if you’re feeling lucky.

BOARDWALK®

With its colorful handcrafted wooden carousel and classic carnival games, this family-favorite Oasis Class neighborhood conjures images of Coney Island and the idyllic piers that dot the coast of England. The open-air stretch at the stern of the ship is also home to rock climbing walls, casual kid-friendly restaurants like Johnny Rockets® and the much-loved Boardwalk Dog House, and the amphitheater-style AquaTheater, where aerialists perform deck defying stunts and white-knuckle dives into the deepest pool at sea. A staple on every Oasis Class ship, the Boardwalk® is the perfect spot for guests who are young or just young at heart.

POOL AND SPORTS ZONE

Looking for things to do on a cruise there’s no better place to kick your getaway into high gear than the Pool and Sports Zone. Spanning the length of the ship, this Oasis Class neighborhood is the ultimate playground for guests of all ages. It encompasses four unique types of pools, two FlowRider® surf simulators, an adults-only zone called the Solarium, courts for basketball, volleyball and soccer matches, and Royal Caribbean favorites like Mini Golf and H2O Zone℠ or Splashaway Bay℠ for kids. Bolder explorers can test their bravery on the world’s first zip line at sea, which soars ten decks above the Boardwalk®.

VITALITY AT SEA SPA AND FITNESS CENTER

The Vitality℠ at Sea Spa and Fitness Center is a must-visit stop if you’re on a couples’ cruise or just craving a little rest and relaxation while the kids are at play. The spa itself offers an extensive list of treatments ranging from massages to facials and acupuncture, plus calming relaxation rooms and a cutting-edge thermal suite complete with ceramic loungers, saunas and steam rooms. Kids get their own dedicated spa, too — the Y Spa, which offer services designed specifically for younger guests. The Fitness Center provides lots of ways to stay active, whether you prefer to work out solo or join a group exercise class.

YOUTH ZONE

Home to the award-winning Adventure Ocean® youth program, the Youth Zone is a thrill-filled hideaway for kids to hang out and make friends across their family cruise getaway. It’s packed with revolutionary common spaces, educational activities, games and events tailored to different age groups. It’s also where you’ll find Royal Babies® and Royal Tots® — the cruise line’s nursey for infants and toddlers age six to 36 months. The Youth Zone is open daily and offers a late-night care service for when parents want to spend an adults’ night out on deck.
