It’s that time of year — we have unveiled most of the new sailings in its lineup of cruises for 2022 and 2023. Whether you dream of trekking across glaciers and through the wild northern forests of Alaska, riding waves and soaking up the sun in Hawaii, island-hopping across the Caribbean, or exploring ancient capitals throughout Europe, the cruise line offers plenty of options to discover the world’s wonders onboard ships as incredible as the destinations they visit. And in 2022-2023, it’s adding a slew of firsts to its comeback sailing season — including new homeports like Los Angeles, later stays and overnights at top-rated ports in the South Pacific, the Caribbean and Europe, and more opportunities to make memories onboard Amplified ships and new additions to the fleet. Here are just some of the highlights you can look forward to in 2022 and 2023. The best part? Most of these cruises are already open to book, so you can start planning your vacation early and score some major savings.

When it comes to exploring Alaska’s untamed beauty, nobody does it as well as Royal Caribbean. And in summer 2022, the cruise line will top every season so far, as Quantum of the Seas® joins Ovation of the Seas® to take you deep into the Last Frontier. It’s the first time we have ever had two Quantum Class ships in the region, each loaded with innovative feats like simulated skydiving and the soaring North Star® observation capsule that offers 360-degree-views of the surrounding landscape. That’s not all, though — returning favorites Radiance of the Seas® and Serenade of the Seas® will head north again to sail week-long Alaska itineraries. Both are decked out with more glass than any other ships in the fleet (think floor-to-ceiling windows, ocean-facing glass elevators and more) — perfect for soaking up wild views as you sail through Alaska’s breathtaking fjords. With stops in scenic Skagway, culture-rich Ketchikan and vibrant Juneau — not to mention more opportunities to scope out calving glaciers — each itinerary offers endless fun beneath the Midnight Sun.

We have built our reputation on its epic Caribbean cruises, and each year it finds new ways to raise the bar. True to form, the 2022-2023 cruise season will be the boldest yet for island-hopping, with all four Oasis Class ships sailing to top-rated ports in the easternwestern and southern Caribbean. Like Cozumel, St. Thomas, Roatán, St. Lucia and the cruise line’s top-rated private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. The Amplified Oasis® and Symphony of the Seas® will sail from Miami, while Harmony of the Seas® brings sun-soaked island adventures to Port Canaveral. And Allure of the Seas® will make its debut in Galveston in 2022, becoming the first of its class in the region. But that’s not all — you’ll also be able to chase adventure through the tropics onboard the all-new Odyssey of the Seas℠ and fleet favorites Explorer®, Vision®, Serenade®, Grandeur®, Jewel® and Voyager of the Seas®.

The 2022-2023 cruise season will also offer lots of opportunities to maximize your weekends, with plenty of 3- and 4-night Caribbean getaways from Florida and Galveston. Choose between eight thrill-filled ships — including the Amplified Freedom of the Seas® sailing from Miami, Brilliance® and Rhapsody of the Seas® sailing from Tampa, and Adventure® and Grandeur of the Seas® sailing from Galveston. You can also cruise from Port Canaveral onboard the Amplified Mariner and Independence of the Seas®, or from Fort Lauderdale onboard Liberty of the Seas®. No matter which ship you sail on, each of these itineraries lets you fit plenty of thrills — or time to chill — into just a few days, with stops at fan-favorite destinations like Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya and our private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

You won’t believe where adventure can take you when you sail from our northeast ports during our best season yet. Tour the tropics on sun-drenched sailings to Perfect Day at CocoCay, The Bahamas’ picture-perfect beaches, and exotic southern Caribbean isles like Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Lucia. Go bolder than ever before in Bermuda, with overnight stays and a new itinerary that stops at iconic eastern Caribbean ports — like St. Maarten and Puerto Rico. Or bask in the beauty of the Great White North with summer and fall getaways to New England and Canada’s wild, windswept shores. Sail from Cape Liberty onboard Adventure of the Seas® and returning favorite Anthem of the Seas®, from Baltimore on Enchantment of the Seas®, or from Boston onboard the Amplified Voyager of the Seas®.

Bringing adventure back to the west coast for the first time in over a decade. See just how many new discoveries you can fit into a weekend onboard the Amplified Navigator of the Seas®sailing from Los Angeles. You can soak up Old World charm on Catalina Island, venture into Baja’s prestigious wine country and unwind on Cabo’s world-famous beaches. All onboard a ship that beckons with thrilling waterslides, a sprawling resort-style pool deck and cocktail bars that channel major island vibes. Do it all in just a few days on a short 3- or 4-night getaway, or wander further on a 7-night adventure with stops in historic Mazatlán and pretty Puerto Vallarta. Whether you choose to level up your weekend or spend a full week exploring the Mexican Riviera, get ready to make memories.

Summer 2022 is your chance to dive deep into Europe. Explore iconic destinations from Italy to Israel and beyond onboard the new Odyssey of the SeasSM. Fall in love with the Med’s greatest hits and discover all of its hidden gems onboard Allure® and Vision of the Seas®, sailing from Barcelona. Or linger longer in the Greek Isles onboard Brilliance of the Seas®, sailing from Venice. If emerald forests, golden-domed churches and fairytale castles are high on your wander list, head north from Copehagen or Stockholm for unforgettable sights in Russia and Scandinavia onboard Voyager of the Seas® — the first of its class to ever sail the region. Or wander from Amsterdam to the British Isles and the Arctic Circle onboard Jewel of the Seas®. And on Anthem of the Seas® you can choose between fjord-filled adventures in Norway, wine-country wonders in France and Spain, and island-hopping across the Canaries — all from Southampton.

Get ready for a season of new discoveries from New Zealand to New Caledonia in 2022-2023. Sailing from Brisbane for the first time ever in the fall of 2022, Quantum of the Seas® unlocks the best of the South Pacific, Queensland and Tasmania with overnights in Hobart and Cairns. Ovation of the Seas® offers getaways to New Zealand’s sprawling vineyards and majestic fjords, and overnights in Vanuatu and Tasmania. Or set your sights on Fiji and the Great Barrier Reef with sun-soaked escapes to Willis Island, Port Douglas and Suva onboard Radiance of the Seas®. If you want to wander even further, opt for a one-way transpacific trek between Australia and Hawaii. You’ll stop at exotic destinations like Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti, with late stays on select sailings. Or cruise between Vancouver and Honolulu with stops in Kailua Kona and Mount Kilauea. Every itinerary features late-nights or overnight stays in Maui, so you can add sunset surf sessions and evening luaus to your wander list.

Wherever you’re looking to wander over the next couple of years, you can explore the world’s most incredible destinations with your next cruise — all while making memories in between shores on ships brimming with innovative thrills, spectacular entertainment, delicious dining and more. Explore all our upcoming itineraries on our 2022-23 cruise page, and stay tuned for more adventures later this year.
