Es posible que hayas visto las noticias y que estés algo preocupado por tu viaje del 7 de febrero de 2020. Agradecemos la enorme cautela de los CDC, así como su colaboración. 

Ninguno de los cuatro huéspedes evaluados por los CDC mostró signos o síntomas clínicos de coronavirus. Uno tuvo resultados positivos para influenza A. De acuerdo con nuestros registros, los huéspedes no habían estado en China desde el 26 de enero. 

Además, las autoridades han autorizado nuestra salida, como de costumbre. Sin embargo, para tranquilizar a los huéspedes preocupados, retrasaremos nuestra salida hasta el sábado, 8 de febrero de 2020, cuando recibamos los resultados concluyentes de las pruebas realizadas por los CDC.

Sabemos que puede que estés nervioso por abordar el barco, ¡nosotros también lo estamos! Por lo tanto, hemos decidido cambiar el embarque para el 8 de febrero de 2020, a las 5:00 p.m. hora oficial del este, mientras esperamos los resultados de los CDC.

También hemos realizado ajustes en nuestro itinerario, los que puedes encontrar a continuación:

Zarparemos desde Cape Liberty a las 10:00 p.m. del día sábado, 8 de febrero, en vez de hacerlo a las 3:00 p.m. del día viernes, 7 de febrero. Además, nuestra visita a Puerto Cañaveral se realizará el 11 de febrero, desde las 7:00 a.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. y estaremos en Perfect Day at CocoCay el 12 de febrero, de las 8:00 a.m. a las 6:00 p.m. Por desgracia, no podremos visitar Nassau, las Bahamas.

For guests on a cancelled sailing, we're now offering more options.

Below are some options for you, including one that has been very well received by our guests, as it provides a little something extra to use when we all start cruising again!


As a result of this change, we’re providing you with a 125% Future Cruise Credit to come back and sail with us by September 30th, 2022. Please re-book using your FCC by April 30, 2022. We will automatically issue you your Future Cruise Credit (FCC) via email, so there’s nothing for you to do!

• Please know, taxes & fees and any RoyalUp upgrades will be automatically refunded. You can expect to see these in 45 days.

• If you used a Future Cruise Credit to pay for your impacted sailing (including previous Global Suspension FCCs), you’ll receive a new Future Cruise Credit. This certificate will be for 125% of any new monies paid on this sailing, plus 100% of the value of your original redeemed credit, with an expiration date of April 30th, 2022 and a sail by date of September 30th, 2022.

• Guests booked on charter sailings are not eligible for offers related to the Global Suspension or Cruise with Confidence. Please refer back to the charter client for more information.

If you prefer to move your existing booking to a sailing next year – we’re happy to move you! We will price protect the original pricing and/or promotion on the same itinerary, embarkation port, length, product, and stateroom category as your original sailing within 2 weeks (before or after) of the original sail date in 2021. For example, if you are moving from a June 1st, 2021 sailing, you can move to a sailing that is the same itinerary, embarkation port, length, product, and stateroom category, and the sail date between May 18th, 2022 – June 15th, 2022.


• If we don’t hear from you, we will automatically issue your Future Cruise Credit.

• Only available for sailings cancelled as part of our global suspension on May 20th, 2020 or after.

• Only sailings departing on or before April 30, 2022 can be rebooked as part of our Lift & Shift offer. Sailings departing after April 30, 2022 are unavailable as options through this offer, regardless of the original sail date (unless otherwise specified).

For all sailings cancelled as part of our suspension of operations due to COVID-19:


• If you purchased refundable air or hotel accommodations through Royal Caribbean, they will be automatically refunded to you within 45 days after we process the cancellation.

• If you booked non-refundable air through Royal Caribbean or booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them.

Global Suspension Refund Update

As we went into our global suspension of sailings, we initially estimated that refunds would take 30 days. Unfortunately, with an unprecedented volume of refunds and credits, we are delayed. We’ve worked diligently to resolve most of the volume issues and are working around the clock to address the backlog to get you your refund, as quickly possible. Currently, some refunds are taking up to 45 days from the date requested.

Please know that each and every request is receiving the same level of care and dedication. And rest assured, your refund will be honored and it is coming – it’s just taking a little longer than expected and we’re very sorry about that. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
